Mariner Solutions
Mariner Solutions was founded in 1997
by David MacAdam.
There are three areas that David feels he can offer expertise to fulfill
the needs of his valued client base. These areas are Data, Marine and
Music.
David spent the first 20 years of his career working in the
marine
industry. Starting as a teenager on his father’s tugboat fleet in
Goderich, Ontario. In the
early eighties, it was oil tankers on the east coast of
Canada. He spent the next
decade and a half as a tug skipper / mate on the Great Lakes and Eastern
Seaboard
of Canada.
Winter layoffs presented the opportunity for further education. Following several
computer courses it became apparent that David had a knack for computers,
networks and the support factors that go along with Information
Technology.
In 1997 Mariner Solutions was born. The intention of the company was to
bring computers and networking solutions to companies on both land and
sea.
NMEA 2000 is the emerging standard for modern Marine Electronics. This
standard falls perfectly into place for Mariner Solutions. Data Networking
on marine platforms is a perfect fit for Mariner Solutions to act as a
service provider on board commercial vessels or marine platforms that
would carry up to 50 devices..
Mariner Solutions is a proud member of National Marine Electronics
Association
David also has a deep passion for Music. He is a singer /songwriter. His
own music is very reflective of his marine background. With a variety of
digital recording capabilities Mariner Solutions is an independent record
label for David's music. These services are also made available to our
valued clients. In this "digital" age. Mariner Solutions
can provide businesses or fellow musicians with recording service and

Today
Over the years Mariner Solutions has been very fortunate. Our client base has
been built on word of mouth. Mariner Solutions’ dedication to their clients
has created a base of long term customers. The company has experienced steady growth since inception and continues to
expand their services and thus their client list.
Mariner
Solutions presently serves Ontario and The Great Lakes region.
